1970s sapphire & diamond 18ct yellow gold abstract design ring

This very unusual 18ct yellow gold sapphire and diamond ring is an abstract design reminiscent of a series of blocks or bricks set above an 18ct yellow gold band. he shoulders of the ring are rectangular textured gold bricks and between them are a series of 8 either rectangular or square bricks, two being in textured gold, three set with a square sapphire and two set with 5 round diamonds. being 3 diamonds in one braick and 2 in the other. The bricks are set at varying heights.
The shank is stamped "18ct" and although there is a maker's mark stamped in the shank it is rubbed so that a "T" is visible as are what appears to be the "feet" of an "M".
This may be a piece by Trevor J Marsh who was based in Bath.
