A boxed bronze medal by Raymond Pelletier

The obverse of this bronze medal depicts a partially clad female suspended above the earth throwing down lighting bolts - this is presumably a depiction of the goddess of lightning (Astrape -Greek) (Fulgora - Roman)
The obverse is signed "Ray. Pelletier".
The reverse depicts men working in electrical equipment with the words "Syndicat General de la Construction Electrique" around the top and across the bottom the words "Conscience Professionnelle. Valeur Technique. Esprit d'Equipe. Fidelite a la Tache. Paulette Moncany 1957"

The rim is stamped "Bronze" and has the Horn of Plenty mark for the Paris Mint.
