Cowdy Glass Workshop large conical decanter

This elegant conical decanter is by Cowdy Glass Workshop the Gloucestershire glass blowing studio. It is a mottled tri-colour starting with the green stopper and neck, bleeding into blue for the top two-thirds of the base below the neck which in turn bleeds into pink for the bottom third. At the base of the neck is a coiled collar of glass. The base is scratch signed "Cowdy" and has a flower shaped pontil. Giving an exact date is difficult but it is certainly post 1978, as that was the year Pauline Solven and her husband Harry opened the studio.

Approximate dimensions:
Weight: 1lb 14 7/8ozs - 877gms
Height: 9.76ins - 24.8cms
Diameter of base: 9.53ins - 24.4cms
