A signed “Ahus” dark based clear topped with an internal white spiral line vase.

This large glass vase is unusual in that the base colour is an intense purple colouring giving the elusion of being black whilst the clear top section is infused with a white slip trail inset in a spiral design. It certainly is a stand alone piece in any home. The piece is fully signed by the artist Hanne Dreutler (2001) for the Ahus Studio Sweden.

STUDIO AHUS

Ahus was set up by husband and wife team Hanne Dreutler and Arthur Zirnsack with the help of their great friend Vicke Lindstrand in the early 1970s when all 3 left Kosta Boda to embark on this venture which is recognised as Scandinavia's most innovative and technically accomplished current glass studio . The studio is the only one in the world which specialises in heavy Graal pieces.
