As Pauline Rader made all her items in limited ranges this is an asset to the collector. This
is wonderful for collectors as well as the end user as there is very little likely hood of someone else wearing this item
at the same time as you. About the designer: Pauline Rader, the daughter of a jeweller, began designing her own jewellery
around 1962. Her designs were influenced by her study of and love for the antique Jewellery, being highly imaginative and
usually massive in size, often showed mystical Greek or Italian influences. Her pieces are known for being unique and combining
a classic theme with the unexpected. Out of
her Showroom in New York City, Pauline Rader produced necklaces, bracelets, brooches, pendants, earrings and rings with designs
including ancient coin replica pieces of jewellery, figural and flowers.
Pauline Rader designs were manufactured in very small quantities
for a select clientele and elite boutiques, therefore, her jewellery is difficult to find and is highly sought after. She
ceased operations in the 1980’s. Jon Levine, the grandson of Pauline Rader, together with his wife Leigh
Levine, a 4th generation jewellery designer, are relaunching the family business 20 years after the last collection
