Condition:The bowl has minor scratching to the surface of the bowl and
has a firing mark on the outer tube line to the top right hand side of the tree.There is also crazing
to the back of the plate. From our inspection there has been no restoration
Description: A c.1923 Moorcroft landscape patterned bowl in the Moonlit Blue pattern.
This ‘Rare’ patterned bowl was the inspiration by the Moorcroft factory
in 1921 when they experimented with blue and green patterned trees and subsequently produced the first production line items
in 1922.The bowl has minor scratching to the surface of the bowl and has a firing mark on the outer tube line to the top right
hand side of the tree.There is also crazing to the back of the plate.The back of the plate has the makers mark for 1918-1929 and impressed mark for
Cobridge factory painted initials ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ which was to comply with USA import regulations
