Condition: Wear to the base gilding and slight nick to the foot rim of the base of the jug. See additional pictures.
Description: A c.1930’s Carton Ware shagreen pattern milk jug.
The jug has a triple
stage design with the shagreen patter to the top of the jug in gold black and orange enamel flowers.The
second stage there is a blackened enamel with a gilded line separating the bottom third section which is in a vibrant red
enamel. The underside is marked with the makers mark see picture below.
