Art Deco silver plate & macassar ebony uplighter

This is a magnificent uplighter! Made during the Art Deco period probably in France the round two tiered base is in macassar ebony veneer. The base supports a round domed silver plated foot below a round pedestal beneath a large tulip shaped top the inside of which has been painted white to assist light reflection. A lovely thing!
