Pair of macassar ebony & chrome lamps with opaque white glass shades

These extremely stylish contemporary lamps are made of macassar ebony and have been made to our design.

Each two tier square macassar ebony base sits on 4 square chrome feet that are positioned on each corner so that they protrude and are partially visible.
The base supports a chrome gallery in which a large square opaque glass shade sits.
The shade is kept in place by three screws.

The shades are probably from the 1940s-50s.

Approximate dimensions:
Dimensions of base: 9.45ins x 9.45ins - 24cms x 24cms
Height including shade: 13.11ins - 33.3cms

Condition:

Excellent although the shades being older do have some nicks around the rim where they fit into the gallery but are not visible once in place.
Professionally rewired with current PAT certificates
Take bayonet bulbs but we recommend low wattage to avoid damage to shades

Please note that these lamps have 3 square pin plugs and are wired for the UK system. Please check whether this is compatible with your system before purchasing as returns will not be accepted and refunds will not be given if there is an electrical incompatibility problem.
