Thomas Atelier Collection 1980s 22 piece tea set

We could not resist this teaset when we saw it a number of years ago, since when it has lain in a box hiding its iconic style under a bushel. Made by the German company Thomas it is in grey & blue china. The "V" shaped cups are in dove grey with blue saucers, the side plates are in dove grey, the handleless conical milk jug is dove grey, the broad conical sugar bowl has a grey base and a blue conical lid and the crowning glory of the set is the conical tea pot that is in dove grey with a blue lid and a black metal handle and it has a black china teapot stand with conical feet. There is a very Japanese feel to the design. Underneath the base of each piece is a stoneware disc stamped "Thomas Germany Atelier Collection"
